IEA Report
In 2021, the IEA released a report entitled "Net Zero by 2050" which specifies the emissions trajectory that, in its assessment, would be "consistent with efforts to limit the long‐term increase in average global temperatures to 1.5°C." For example, the report states that by 2035 coal use must be reduced by 50% and production of internal combustion passenger vehicles must be stopped in order to remain on target.
